They're growing — and they need a commercially sharp Senior Legal Counsel to be part of that growth across the EMEA region.
The role
Reporting to the Legal Director EMEA in Germany with a dotted line to the VP Legal Affairs EMEA in the UK, you'll be providing day-to-day legal support across multiple business entities in the region. This is a genuinely varied in-house role — you'll be close to the business, involved in real decisions, and working across a wide range of commercial matters.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing daily legal support to multiple companies across the EMEA region
* Reviewing, drafting and advising on commercial contracts — supply, distribution, service and more
* Reviewing and drafting legal documents for campaigns and business initiatives
* Supporting the legal roll-out of business projects
* Conducting legal research as required
* Assisting with signing and closing procedures, signature packs and document execution
* Collating billing information and supporting general legal operations
What you'll need:
* Fully qualified lawyer in the EEA or UK with relevant post-qualification experience
* Law firm background preferred
* Proven experience in commercial / contract law, ideally in an international environment
* Strong communication skills — written and verbal — with the confidence to engage business stakeholders at all levels
* Professional working proficiency in English (required); German language skills a genuine advantage
* Proactive, pragmatic and business-focused approach — you find solutions, not just problems
* Organised, structured and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word; Excel and PowerPoint a plus
Nice to have (but not essential):
* Experience in data privacy
* Knowledge of competition / cartel law
