Director of Estates - Head of FM
Up to £60,000 plus attractive benefits package

Hexagon Group are delighted to partner with Kirklees College following the success of a previous campaign to help them find a knowledgeable and experienced Director of Estates who will help them create and deliver their strategic objectives for the college, whilst keeping their caring and inclusive culture at the forefront of their delivery.
Qualifications
* Chartered professional qualification in a property/ built environment related discipline (architecture, building, engineering, surveying, facilities management) i.e. MCIOB
* Health and Safety qualification is desirable e.g. IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certification
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven track record of managing a complex property portfolio across multiple sites.
* Evidence of successful management of facilities in a customer focused environment.
* Experience of contributing to strategic and operational planning processes.
* Experience of efficient financial management, including project costing and management of budgets.
Technical and People Skills
* Successful management and development of a team of multi-disciplinary and multi task staff in a multi-site operation.
* Excellent interpersonal and management skills with a record of success in a customer service environment.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal and to a wide range of audiences.
* High level planning and organisation skills including; forward planning, forecasting, ability to analyse, synthesise, evaluate and communicate complex data.
Impact and Influence
* Experience of representing organisations at high level forums demanding sensitivity, political awareness and an up to date knowledge of the FE sector.
* Understanding of the way that the service area can positively impact on the learner's experience.
* Flexible and adaptable to change with resilience and reliability within a variety of challenging situations.
