ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced, motivated and resilient Youth Worker to support students in a Secondary SEMH school in Swindon.
The school is for students in Keys Stages 3 and 4 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying SEMH.
Located within inner city Swindon, the school is easily accessed by public transport and has onsite parking available.
The position is open to all experienced those you have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

10. Hours – 8:30 am – : Mon – Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
11. Previous experience in a similar setting
12. LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
13. GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
14. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
15. Hold Right to Work in the UK
16. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
17. Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
