Associate Director level Architect or Architectural Technologist required to join one of Leeds City’s premier Architectural Practices.
Working at either Associate or Associate Director within their current place of employment. Required is an enthusiastic individual will need to evidence strong expertise in the industrial and logistics sector as well as team management skills and ability to develop business opportunities.
Based in our clients contemporary central Leeds studio, the successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in the industrial and logistics sector in relation to project design, business generation of new clients and maintaining existing client relationships that deliver repeat commissions. They will also liaise closely with their colleagues in the London and Manchester studios, recognising and promoting cross office opportunity.
The role will have ‘day to day’ responsibility for assisting in the running of the studio delivering industrial, logistics, manufacturing and process driven projects for their clients. The position will work closely with the team of Architectural Directors to develop and bring forward strategies to support the ongoing development of the business in this particular sector.
Expected tasks and responsibilities for the Associate Director.
Actively undertake focused and coordinated business development to foster and develop new client opportunities for the business including maximising repeat business.
Uphold and enhance the practice's reputation for design quality and project delivery while optimising financial performance.
Lead the architectural design of projects.
Develop and monitor studio and work sector business plans.
Attend and contribute to meetings, make decisions amidst conflicting demands, and manage client expectations.
Lead and motivate staff and manage staff relations.
Contribute to management reviews.
Contribute to financial reviews.

The candidate, essential criteria:
RIBA & ARB Registered Architect or MCIAT Chartered Architectural Technologist.
Proficient in REVIT / AutoCAD and Mircrosoft office suite of programmes.
Be able to lead and manage a team utilising these software packages.
10 years post qualification experience in Architectural Practice.
Leading Architectural Design.
Leading and developing external business development and relationship building.
Salary & Package: Associate Director
Salary depending on experience / suitability: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum.
Profit related bonus scheme paid annually.
