Department: Business Advisory Location: Stoke-on-Trent Description DPC is looking for a friendly, organised Trainee CoSec Assistant to join our growing team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role, ideal for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys detail and structure, and likes working closely with colleagues. You’ll support our team in helping clients stay compliant while developing your skills and starting your career in company secretarial practice. We are looking for a proactive and organized Trainee Company Secretary to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in company secretarial work and develop your career in corporate governance. No prior CoSec experience is required – full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities Assist in maintaining company statutory records and registers. Support the preparation and filing of statutory forms and documents with Companies House. Help organise board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action points. Assist with compliance tasks, ensuring deadlines and statutory requirements are met. Provide general administrative support to the CoSec team as needed. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Confident and professional communicator, able to liaise with internal teams. Positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
