Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical)

Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer and work on diverse industrial projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial electrical systems, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of OEM machinery and other industrial equipment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Carry out electrical installations for OEM machinery, conveyor systems, and other industrial equipment.
* Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on both new and existing systems.
* Support bespoke machinery builds and site-based installations.
* Interpret and work from industrial electrical schematics.
* Build and wire electrical control panels to specification.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health & safety standards.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
* Work both at our Tredegar workshop and on customer sites across the UK.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience with 3-phase system installation and distribution.
* Expertise in motor control wiring, VSD fault finding, and control and safety systems.
* Proficiency in cable containment systems and termination.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with pneumatic control systems (installation and fault finding).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
* EAL Level 3 or equivalent.
* AM2 Assessment.
* BS#removed#th Edition Wiring Regulations (required).
Desirable Skills
* Ability to fault find on PLCs using software tools.
* Basic mechanical understanding for assisting during breakdowns.

Working Hours
* Standard 40-hour week (08:00-16:00), with flexibility required.
* Overtime regularly available and expected depending on workload.
