Title: Accounts Assistant Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time (Monday – Friday) Location: Alness Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 benefits Details: Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to support our client’s small team based in Inverness. The successful applicant will have strong accounts experience along with the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills, excellent organisational ability, and a solid understanding of accounting procedures. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out a wide range of accounts/bookkeeping duties including ledgers and reconciliations. Credit control, billing and providing quotes to clients. Updating and maintaining accurate and confidential financial records. Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT returns. Liaising with clients and dealing with general accounting enquiries. Extensive use of MS Office and financial software systems. Person Specification: Experience in a similar accounts/bookkeeping role. Strong IT skills including MS Office and financial software systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Abilit to manage a varied workload. Capable of multitasking and working with accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to contribute effectively as part of a small team.
