Job Summary
The SAEDS, Specialist Adult Eating Disorder Team are looking to recruit a full-time Band 6 Adult Eating Disorder Therapist.
The Successful Candidate Will:
* Provide a specialist CBT-e & IPT model of treatment to clients within the Specialist Adult Eating Disorders service (SAEDS) (training to be provided where required).
* To provide specialist IPT supervision and training to therapists within the SAEDS.
* To act as Care co-ordinator for Eating Disorder Service clients, as appropriate.To offer advice, support and supervision to other health care professionals.
Main duties of the job
* To contribute to the specialist assessment and treatment planning of clients referred to the SAEDS
* To manage a caseload of clients with eating disorders, and possibly co morbid conditions, in an out-patient and community setting which will include frequent reviews of risk, physical health status, care plans and treatment efficacy.
* To be professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of their own work including the management of service users in their care.
