We are looking for a driven and ambitious Band 5 Staff Nurse, who is committed to delivering exceptional care for a diverse range of conditions.
The Planned Investigation Unit (PIU) on the PRUH site is a busy nurse-led day-case unit that sees patients from a range of specialities. These include Neurology, Haematology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and many more, where a variety of specialist infusions and treatments are provided. The unit is currently open Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 with the possibility of expansion of hours in the future.

Main duties of the job
Job Summary
1. To support the day-to-day delivery of treatment within the nurse-led unit.
2. Work as part of a team to provide an effective, safe environment of care for individual patients, their relatives and carers.
3. To be an effective role model.
4. Under take audit where required.
5. Effective time management.
6. Ensuring the nursing care delivered is of a high standard and within local and Trust guidelines.
