About The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you’ll become a therapeutic parent to the young people in our care. You’ll help them navigate daily routines, build emotional resilience, and enjoy the activities they love. Whether it’s joining them for a walk, supporting their gaming sessions, or simply being a consistent, calming presence, you’ll play a vital role in helping them thrive.
Your Responsibilities
* Supporting children with school runs, meals, homework, and hobbies.
* Using a trauma-informed approach to build trust and emotional safety.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
* Working closely with a small, dedicated team to maintain a nurturing home.
* Keeping the home tidy, safe, and full of pride.
* Writing reports and logs to ensure smooth and safe operations.
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s resilient, patient, and emotionally intelligent—someone who understands that this is more than just a job. You’ll be a steady presence in the lives of children who need consistency and care.
Requirements
* No formal experience needed—just a willingness to learn and grow.
* A full UK driving licence and be over the age of 21 (Essential).
* Willingness to work 11-day shifts (8am–11pm) per month, and 7–10 sleep-ins.
