Store Manager / Assistant Manager Step-Up – High Street Retail
We are recruiting a Store Manager for a busy high street retail store specialising in cards, gifts and partyware. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Store Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up.
You’ll be accountable for commercial performance, team engagement and delivering a consistently positive customer experience.

What you’ll do:
* Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver great customer service
* Drive sales performance and achieve store targets
* Create a positive, well‑organised and customer‑focused store environment
* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and safety
* Use sales and performance information to identify opportunities
* Recruit, train and develop team members
* Plan, delegate and prioritise effectively, particularly during peak trading
* Ensure compliance with company procedures, cash handling and health & safety
