At Sancton Wood, we believe that exceptional early years care begins with love, patience, and curiosity. Our Nursery is a joyful, nurturing space where children aged 1–4 learn through play, exploration, and connection — and where educators are supported to grow professionally and personally.
We’re looking for warm, enthusiastic practitioners to join our close‑knit Nursery team. Whether you’re already qualified to Level 3 in Early Years or looking to train for the new EBR qualification, we’d love to hear from you.
Our newly refurbished Nursery, located just a five‑minute walk from Cambridge train station, offers a bright and welcoming environment — complete with a large garden for outdoor learning, a Forest School area, climbing frames, a sandpit, and a water pump for imaginative play.
If you’re passionate about nurturing young children and believe in education rooted in care, we’d be delighted to welcome you to the Sancton Wood community.
What We’re Looking For
* Essential: Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in EYFS, or a commitment to train for the EBR qualification
* Full‑time or part‑time positions. Hours can be flexible between 7.30 am – 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday (with early and late start options).
What You’ll Enjoy as Part of Our Team

* Competitive salary and company pension contributions
* On‑site parking and secure cycle storage
* Convenient central Cambridge location, just minutes from the station
