Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Enniskillen Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial spaces and hotels. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring linens are clean and well-presented.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests in a friendly manner.
* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently met.
Experience
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
* Experience in cooking is a nice-to-have skill that can enhance guest satisfaction during their stay.
* A proactive approach to tasks, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
