Job Description
Are you looking for a varied role where no two days are the same? Principal People are working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor to cover projects across the Yorkshire area with occasional travel further afield. This role is home-based with travel to sites in the region.
The role is primarily focused on delivering hands-on health and safety support to site teams across the region, providing a fantastic opportunity to interact with site teams and drive a positive health and safety culture through relationship building across various projects, making the role varied on a day-to-day basis.
This is a hybrid position with a 50/50 split of site visits and work in an office or home environment, depending on personal preference and company needs. Working with a growing business offers a significant opportunity to be involved in some of the largest projects in the UK.
Responsibilities:
1. Review risk assessments and method statements
2. Conduct site audits and inspections
3. Assist with incident investigations when required
4. Provide advice and support to all departments
5. Build positive relationships with on-site teams to promote a safety culture

Minimum Requirements:
* NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate or higher
* Experience in infrastructure, construction, utilities, or similar industries
* Experience with the preconstruction stage of projects
* Effective communication skills across all stakeholder levels
