About The Role
We have an opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing Thames Valley tax team. This role comes with natural opportunities for progression as the team has grown 66% since March 2020. The position is suitable for an Assistant Manager seeking a step up, or a Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge with scope for career advancement.
The role involves working closely with tax partners to deliver UK and cross‑border project‑based work, overseeing larger and often more complex compliance work with a portfolio of clients ranging from owner‑managed companies to listed groups across a variety of industry sectors. You will also be involved in business development initiatives and collaborate with the team to generate new work.
Qualifications
* ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification essential.
* Significant Corporate Tax and accounting experience on a range of advisory and compliance projects.
* A passion for client service.
* A track record of developing new work.

* Lead work on UK and cross‑border tax advisory projects, reporting to tax partners.
* Oversee compliance work on larger or more complex clients.
* Develop relationships with clients and contacts.
* Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and contacts, including corporate taxes, VAT, personal taxes, payroll taxes, corporate finance support, etc.
* Act in the firm’s best interests, with integrity in all dealings.
* Understand and manage various types of risk and follow firm policies for risk management.
* Consider and manage reputational, operational and credit risk in all interactions with clients.
* Show a sense of urgency and understand how speed, attention to detail and quality impact client service.
* Approach problems with an application‑and‑solution mindset, using research to deliver solutions in client assignments.
* Identify areas requiring improvement in client business processes and possible recommendations.
* Take primary responsibility for the financial performance of client and project work.
