What You Will Do:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons to learners aged 16+ across a variety of levels (GCSE, Functional Skills, A-Level, or equivalent).
* Develop and adapt resources to meet learners' needs, including those with SEND or EAL requirements.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, supporting them to achieve academic and personal growth.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance processes, and departmental improvement initiatives.
* Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported.
What You Need:
* A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, CertEd, QTLS) or willingness to work towards one.
* A degree in English or a related subject.
* Experience teaching English in the secondary level.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Passion for education and student success.
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
