Overview
This is an Accounts Manager role based at our client's Milton Keynes office. The position offers the opportunity to lead and review a portfolio of accounts work, supporting the firm's continued growth and delivering a high-quality service to a varied client base.
Responsibilities
* Reviewing and managing a portfolio of accounts jobs, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
* Managing the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts for FRS 102 and FRS 105 clients under the overall control of Directors and Principals.
* Overseeing the preparation of corporation tax returns for FRS 105 clients.
* Managing the preparation of sole trader accounts and the associated personal tax returns.
* Supervising and training junior staff, including on-the-job coaching, and reviewing their work.
* Advising and supporting clients using cloud-based systems (particularly Xero and QuickBooks Online).
* Managing the financial aspects of client relationships including budgeting, negotiation, billing, and recovery.
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong background in accounting within a professional services environment.
* Working knowledge of accounting standards and corporate tax matters.
* Experience in personal tax desirable but not essential.
* Demonstrable experience with cloud accounting packages, particularly Xero and QuickBooks Online, and relevant App integrations.

* Full-time role - Monday to Friday (hybrid working available).
