Mobile Electrician (M3 Corridor)
We are a leading facilities management provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional maintenance services to our portfolio of commercial clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team, focusing on a key contract covering modern office spaces along the M3 corridor.
Position Details
* Position: Mobile Electrician
* Location: M3 Corridor (Basingstoke, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Portsmouth, Bracknell area)
* Salary: Up to GBP40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Hours: Monday to Friday Full‑time, Permanent
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of commercial office buildings.
* Perform PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
* Conduct fault‑finding and repairs to ensure minimal disruption to the client.
* Perform minor electrical installations and project works.
* Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
* Ensure all work complies with current Health and Safety legislation and the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
* Maintain clear and accurate records of all work completed.
Ideal Candidate
* Essential Qualifications
* City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
* Desirable Qualifications
* City and Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Testing and Inspection.
Experience And Skills
* Proven experience working in a similar maintenance role within commercial environments (offices, retail, etc.).
* A full UK Driving Licence.
* Excellent fault‑finding, problem‑solving, and diagnostic skills.
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
Willingness to participate in the on‑call rota.
