Job Description
3. Monitor and manage client accounts to ensure timely payments.
4. Identify overdue accounts and initiate appropriate actions for resolution.
5. Maintain accurate records of payments and account statuses.
6. Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment queries.
7. Prepare and distribute regular account statements to clients.
8. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to improve credit control processes.
9. Support the preparation of financial reports related to credit control activities.
10. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining firm credit control practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in a similar role, in particular.
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
13. Experience using SAGE.
14. A good understanding of accounting principles and credit control processes.
15. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
16. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
17. The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
