Machine Operator
£15.00-£17.00 per hour | 37 hours per week | Worksop
Stafforce Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a respected and innovative manufacturing organisation. We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join their expanding production team.
🔧 Role Overview
You will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery to support efficient, high‑quality production. Full training will be provided on specialist equipment due to the unique nature of the industry.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery, including laser‑based equipment and grinding machines.
Set up machines using CAD drawings and tooling specifications with accurate calibration.
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
Safely handle materials, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the production area.
Assist with assembly tasks, ensuring all components meet required quality standards.
Use hand tools and welding equipment for minor repairs or adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of production activity and machine performance.
Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
✔️ What We're Looking For
Experience in machining or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of CNC machinery, grinding machines, tooling setup, welding, and materials handling.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Confident using hand tools and performing basic measurements and calculations.
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.About Us
