Head Chef
We are looking for a Head chef with a minimum of two years experience to help build up a gastro pub / Hotel with exciting prospects for the future
The Head chef must have a great knowlegde of tradional English food looking to put a spin on things
* The head chef Working hours - Must be flexiable to work anywhere been 9am-10pm 5days a week this will include every saturday and sunday .
* The Head Chef shifts will most likely be spit into 10:00 - 15:00 - 16:00 -21:00
* Free soft drinks and lunch.
* Assist with the recruitment and training of all kitchen staff
* Willing to work a 48 hour week including weekends and night shifts
* Ensuring all staff are aware of the '14 allergens' and preventing any cross contamination during service.
* Ensuring all allergen recipe cards and allergen matrixes are up to date.
* Ensuring the correct colour coded chopping boards are used in the correct manner and that nopathogen or allergen contamination.
* Coordinate daily staff briefings for all kitchen staff on duty in the Head Chef's absence
* Assist with the arrangement of COSHH training as and when required
Assist with the development of menus and dishes
EXPERIENCE
2 years experience as a Head Chef in a similar enviroment
Experience of managing a team
Experience of developing menus and dishes
