About The Role
The Events & Coordination Specialist is responsible for leading the delivery and coordination of key marketing activities across the UK & Ireland Safety division, with a particular focus on events and central marketing operations.
Responsibilities
* Take the lead in planning and delivering exhibitions, conferences, and events from concept through to completion.
* Work with Marketing Managers to confirm event selection and define objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes.
* Develop and implement creative initiatives to increase stand footfall, engagement, and lead generation.
* Coordinate mailshot packages, speaker slots, and sponsorship options to maximise visibility and return on investment.
* Lead post‑event analysis to evaluate performance, track ROI, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Ensure accurate and timely entry of event and campaign leads into the CRM system, maintaining visibility for sales follow‑up.
* Manage all event logistics, including venue coordination, stand design, shipping, and on‑site support.
* Take ownership of central event and demo stock, including banners, displays, and equipment.
* Provide central management of giveaways, promotional materials, and merchandise, ensuring creative and effective use that aligns with campaign messaging.
* Manage a central event calendar, ensuring visibility and alignment across all campaigns and activities.
* Centrally manage and evaluate all industry memberships and associations, ensuring Dräger maximises the benefits available. Regularly assess ROI with the Marketing Managers to determine which memberships should be renewed, enhanced, or discontinued.
* Maintain oversight of the wider UK marketing budget, tracking spend and providing regular updates to the Head of Marketing.
* Liaise with suppliers and agencies for print, merchandise, logistics, and event delivery, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of key contracts, purchase orders, and supplier details.
* Support activity reporting by tracking lead sources, conversion, and ROI.
* Provide regular lead summaries and performance insights following major events or campaigns.
* Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve marketing processes, tools, and workflows relevant to your role – driving efficiency, consistency, and best practice across the team.
* Work under the guidance of the Marketing Campaigns & Communications Manager to support wider campaign activity and launches.
* Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to align event plans with campaign and business objectives.
* Support general marketing coordination, admin tasks, process improvements, and cross‑functional projects as required.
* Contribute creative ideas for improving event experiences, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure all activities comply with Dräger’s brand, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain alignment with GTM strategy and key brand messages across events, materials, and communications.
* Manage relationships with external vendors, including raising purchase orders, screening new suppliers, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payment and compliance with procurement processes.

Reporting Relationships
Manager – Marketing Campaigns & Communications Manager
Team size: Working within the Safety Marketing team (12 team members). Meetings will be held at both Dräger offices and offsite to further the collective safety marketing strategy.
Education & Qualifications
Role Requirements
* Degree in Marketing, Events Management, or related field
* Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification or equivalent.
Related Experience
* Demonstrable experience in marketing, events, or project coordination.
* Proven experience leading trade shows, conferences, or corporate events from planning through to evaluation.
* Familiarity with CRM systems for lead management and reporting.
* Strong understanding of event ROI and lead‑generation measurement.
* Experience managing suppliers, budgets, and logistics.
* Experience coordinating marketing memberships or partnerships advantageous.
* Previous exposure to B2B or technical/industrial marketing environments preferred.
