The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Website & E-commerce Specialist / Website Content Creator to join our digital marketing team. Working closely with our marketing, research and development and sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring our website remains up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimised for performance. Your role will include planning, creating and managing engaging content across our website, alongside email marketing campaigns, managing product updates, improving user experience, and collaborating with the marketing team to enhance website visibility. You will combine creativity with technical expertise in copywriting, WordPress, WooCommerce and email marketing (Mailchimp), to deliver a seamless brand experience that attracts, engages, educates and converts customers.

Responsibilities

* Maintain and update website content, product listings, pricing and landing pages
* Develop, edit and publish high-quality web content that aligns with our brand and marketing objectives (copy, technical resources, images and videos)
* Ensure smooth e-commerce functionality (checkout, integrations, performance), troubleshooting any technical issues
* Implement best practices for site speed, security, and mobile responsiveness
* Work with developers/agencies on new features and website improvements
* Optimise and implement SEO and conversion rate (CRO) best practices, alongside an agency team, to improve organic search visibility, including keyword research and optimisation of metadata
* Support Agency PPC and paid social (Meta / Google Ads)
* Monitor analytics (Google Analytics, heatmaps) to improve UX
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and accessibility standards
* Execution of email marketing (Mailchimp) – collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
* Support project management activities related to marketing initiatives across other platforms
* Respond to enquiries submitted online or submitted via Google and Trustpilot to help support trust in the brand; keep customer reviews up-to-date
* Monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth

Requirements

* Marketing degree (or other related) desirable but not essential
* Proven experience in website content creation (in WordPress) or management, preferably within the healthcare / fitness / wellness sector, both B2B and B2C
* Prior experience working with WooCommerce
* Strong understanding of SEO principles, website optimisation and metadata optimisation
* Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and tracking tools
* Proven experience working in e-commerce, particularly with product-driven websites
* Excellent copywriting skills with keen eye for detail and a knack for creating compelling content
* Familiarity with email marketing automation tools like Mailchimp and best practices
* Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot technical issues
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing time and tasks, working under pressure and meeting deadlines
* Experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO)
* Knowledge of UX/UI best practices
* Basic understanding of graphic design tools (Adobe, Canva, Photoshop)
* Passion for health, wellbeing and sports performance
