About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and support secure, scalable hosting environments for engineering and software development workloads in a highly regulated defence environment.
You'll work across physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure — ensuring reliability, security, and compliance across all systems.
This role is part of the Technical Services team, collaborating with Network, Security, and Platform Engineers to deliver and operate modern, resilient infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement, maintain and enhance infrastructure hosting across on-prem and cloud environments.
2. Build and administer Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and virtualised systems (VMware / Hyper-V).
3. Deploy and manage containerised platforms (Docker / Kubernetes).
4. Support automation and CI/CD tooling using Terraform, GitLab, or similar.
