Regional Sales Manager
We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager for the North West to grow our Trailer Rental division.
You'll be given a large, open territory, the freedom to target the customers you choose. If you've sold commercial vehicles or rental solutions and enjoy opening doors and winning long‑term deals, this role gives you the space (and support) to shape your own success.
Zenith operates over 6,500 heavy goods semi‑trailers, offering the widest range of trailer types in the UK market. We work with some of the UK's most recognisable and complex fleets, including Amazon, DPD, Evri, DHL, Royal Mail Group and GXO. These customers rely on Zenith not just as a supplier, but as a long‑term strategic partner.
From parcel delivery and retail distribution to 3PLs, utilities, construction, food and pharmaceutical logistics, we deliver bespoke, high‑quality rental solutions that drive multi‑year customer retention and organic growth.
What's the role?
As Regional Sales Manager, you will own the growth of trailer rental sales across the North West, with a clear focus on new business acquisition. This is a new‑business‑led role, ideal for someone who wants to build a territory.
What You'll Be Doing
* Generating, qualifying and converting self‑sourced new business
* Building and managing a strong regional sales pipeline
* Winning customers across short‑term, long‑term and contract hire solutions
* Growing a small inherited account base while prioritising new logo wins
* Reactivating lapsed customers and identifying upsell opportunities
* Increasing long‑term contract hire penetration
* Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
* Identifying cross‑sell opportunities across the wider Zenith Group
* Providing market insight, competitor intelligence and performance updates
* Becoming a trusted expert in Zenith's trailer rental offering
What You'll Bring?
* Proven B2B new business sales experience
* Background in commercial vehicles or rental, such as: Trailers, HGVs, LCVs, Fleet, leasing or contract hire
* Comfortable selling into transport, logistics and fleet environments
* Confident operating in the field—face‑to‑face, phone and Teams
* Commercially sharp, resilient and well organised
* Happy managing a large, open territory
* Strong prospecting skills using multiple sources
* Comfortable using CRM and sales systems
