Are you an experienced Food Technology Teacher or a passionate educator looking for a new challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Gravesend for a dedicated teacher to start in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Food Technology to secondary-aged students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEND requirements.
* Plan and deliver creative, practical lessons that meet individual learning needs.
* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in the classroom and kitchen.
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team to support student progress.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3/KS4 level.
* Previous experience in an SEN or SEND setting is highly desirable.
* Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.
* A patient, empathetic approach and commitment to inclusive education.
