Vision for Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant from September 2026. This is a full-time role for the 2026/27 academic year, with the potential for a permanent position in 2027 for the right EYFS Teaching Assistant.
The Role
The successful EYFS Teaching Assistant will support learning across Nursery and Reception classes within a thriving primary school in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. This rewarding EYFS Teaching Assistant role will involve working closely with class teachers to support pupils during their early years education, helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, you will support children through play-based learning activities, phonics sessions, language development and early numeracy activities.
