About the Role:GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher (Primary) to join our vibrant school community in Rotherham. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to students with a range of special educational needs.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with special educational needs
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
* Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
* Foster positive relationships with students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development
The successful candidate will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary setting
* Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs
