The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the enclosure design of ruggedised electronic equipment serving the Defence and Cyber‑security sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce 2D and 3D detail drawings through SolidWorks.
* Create drawing packs and bill of materials supporting prototype builds.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure design objectives are met.
* Support the development and validation of ruggedised electronic equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience in 2D and 3D detail drawing using SolidWorks.
* Proficient in creating drawing packs and bill of materials.
* Security clearance required – you must be able to obtain clearance, and have lived in the UK for at least 10 years.
* Strong understanding of design for Defence and Cyber‑security requirements.
