You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing, and diagnosing customer equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with our engineering and service teams while building positive relationships with our customers.
This role involves working both independently and as part of a team, with training and support provided as you grow in the role.
1. Installing, servicing, and repairing air compressors, pipework, and related equipment
2. Following manufacturer guidelines, drawings, and technical specifications
3. Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs using appropriate tools and technical knowledge
4. Communicating clearly with customers about work carried out, issues identified, and recommendations
5. Demonstrating equipment operation where required
6. Working closely with the Field Service Supervisor, Service Administrator, and Lead Engineer to coordinate jobs and resolve technical issues
7. Keeping accurate service records and identifying parts required for repairs
8. Feeding back customer insights and suggestions to help improve our products and services
9. Keeping up to date with technical bulletins and engineering updates

10. Experience in a service engineering or technical environment
11. A relevant technical qualification or practical experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering
12. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
13. Ability to organise your workload and manage your time effectively
14. A positive, reliable, and team-focused attitude
15. Full UK driving licence
16. Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office, Excel)
17. Commercial awareness and confidence discussing technical matters
