Purpose of the role
This role will lead the development of new products from concept through to launch, managing a structured three-year product pipeline. You will work closely with design teams, commercial departments and international suppliers to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities
* Manage the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
* Deliver a rolling three-year product development pipeline.
* Coordinate with design teams and overseas suppliers and manufacturing partners, particularly in China, throughout the development and production process.
* Ensure projects meet deadlines, cost targets and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with sales, marketing and supply chain to support successful launches.
* Analyse market trends, sales data and competitor products to identify new opportunities.
Skills and attributes
* Experience in product management or new product development.
* Strong project management and organisational skills.
* Experience working with manufacturers in China / Far East supply chains.
* Experience managing physical product development.
* Commercial awareness including pricing and forecasting.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and with international suppliers.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
