Yard Operative

Are you ready to get hands-on, learn new skills and be part of a hardworking, supportive team? We're looking for a proactive Yard Operative to join our busy site in Shaftesbury!
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are the same! You'll work closely with our Yard Supervisor, Site Manager, Drivers and Operations teams to keep the site running safely and smoothly. Your role will include:
* Assisting with the acceptance, handling and disposal of various waste streams
* Labelling, sorting and storing waste materials
* Cleaning barrels, containers and yard areas
* Helping with stock control
* Operating power tools
* Supporting the site team with loading/unloading tasks
* General site duties as required

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
1. Someone who is happy to work outdoors all year round
2. Ideally with a Forklift licence
3. A positive, can-do attitude
4. Someone who works well within a team and is flexible with shift working
