Role: Project Engineer Civils
Location: Clyde
We are looking for a Project Engineer Civil's bias to join our team supporting the Clyde framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex civil construction projects, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and safety protocols required in the nuclear industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope, and schedule.
Collaborate with other teams to develop project plans and schedules, and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Review design documents and construction specifications, and ensure they are in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements and deliverables.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
Manage project budgets and costs, including change orders and risk mitigation strategies.
To thrive in the role you will have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Previous experience in civil construction project management.
Experience in the nuclear industry is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry.
Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects from conception to completion.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
