Family Assistant / House Manager – UHNW Family – Hampstead, London Location: Hampstead, London Accommodation: Live-out preferred; live-in possible for the right candidate (private bedroom ensuite) Salary: £600–£750 net per week (dependent on experience) ️ Start: ASAP (3-month handover with outgoing House Manager) ️ Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, occasional flexibility required Children in the household: Yes The Role: We’re seeking a warm, proactive and highly organised Family Assistant / House Manager to support a prominent UHNW household in Hampstead. You’ll be joining a long-standing, loyal team and stepping into a role that has been held with pride for over five years. This is an all-encompassing position —ideal for someone with strong household management instincts, a sense of discretion, and a hands-on approach to daily duties. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily home operations, coordinating with the existing housekeeper and nanny Manage schedules for the family, including appointments, school runs, and social engagements Run errands, grocery shopping, and ad hoc tasks Handle basic admin & PA tasks, booking appointments and travel where needed Light tidying & organisational support around the home (note: a cleaner is employed) Support during occasional dinner parties or guests (occasional weekend help required) Be a reliable presence —especially when the principal is travelling The Ideal Candidate: Previous experience working in a UHNW private household Strong sense of initiative and ability to work autonomously Discreet, polished, and personable Local to Hampstead or able to live-in during the week DBS checked and excellent references Must have a proactive attitude and team-first approach Why Apply?
