JOB TITLE: Reservations and Activities Coordinator - Roe Valley Resort
JOB REFERENCE: FFC 07/25
REPORTING TO: Reservations Manager
HOURS: This position is Full Time, based on 5 days out of 7 including weekends – Weekends would be the busiest time for our family events.
LOCATION: Roe Valley Resort Hotel
SALARY: £12.52 per hour
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about creating memorable family experiences? Roe Valley Resort is looking for an enthusiastic Reservations and Activities Coordinator to manage and promote bookings for our family-friendly activities.
This role involves planning, promoting, and delivering engaging activities for families. During quieter periods, support the Reservations team with inquiries and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively contact families with existing bookings to promote and secure reservations for children’s activities.
* Provide information about options, schedules, pricing, and availability.
* Confirm bookings, handle amendments or cancellations, and record reservations accurately.
* Be the main contact for parents during their stay regarding children’s programs.
* Gather guest feedback to improve activities.
* Work within office guidelines and handle client queries via phone and online.
Reservations Support (as required):
* Assist with handling incoming bookings, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
* Upsell resort facilities and services during guest interactions.
* Provide administrative support during quieter periods.
Requirements:
* Experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales; experience with children or family resorts is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proactive and sales-oriented with confidence in promoting activities.
* Ability to multitask and manage bookings accurately.
* Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
* Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
