About the Role
You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Mathematics in a full-time capacity, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons that stretch and support learners of all abilities. Planning, assessment, and marking will be part of your role, as well as contributing to the school’s commitment to academic excellence.
This position is open to:
* Qualified Maths Teachers (QTS/QTLS)
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to secure their first teaching role in September
* Unqualified Teachers with strong maths subject knowledge and a passion for education
* Graduates with a maths-related background who want to step into teaching
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver creative and effective maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching where necessary
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with the wider department to develop resources and strategies
Requirements:
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (desirable for unqualified applicants)
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for inspiring young learners
* An enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
