Job Title: Planning and Improvement Manager
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the UK's largest healthcare systems, employs around 40,000 staff delivering a wide range of clinical and non-clinical services to over 1.15 million people, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
We are currently implementing our new Transforming Together strategy to support Health & Social Care Reform, and are seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Planning Team as a Planning and Improvement Manager, reporting to the Head of Planning and Improvement.
The successful candidate will collaborate with leaders to implement our 3-year transformation plan, focusing on transforming urgent care delivery through our new Interface Care Division. Responsibilities include developing strategy, supporting system-wide collaboration, and pioneering innovative care models such as the FNC +Plus care model, virtual hospital, Electronic Triage, and Rapid Assessment and Care (RAaC) units.
This role requires an independent worker who can align strategies and implementation plans across the organization and with system partners. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with experience in strategy, transformation, or operations, whether from the public sector or consultancy.
