Are you interested in Geotechnical ground investigations for construction? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Field Services Drilling Manager, as well as playing a vital role in helping our business succeed. We are growing our teams and have a great opportunity for a dedicated Drilling Manager to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are looking for a proactive, reliable and flexible Drilling Manager to join our Geotechnical team. You will oversee multiple in-field projects, manage a team of drillers on site and manage ground investigation projects. Experience as a Drilling Manager and knowledge of the industry are important to succeed in this role.
The tasks you will undertake include, but are not limited to:
* Day-to-day management of in-house drilling staff and support staff
* Day-to-day coordination of subcontract drilling services
* Ensure all equipment and materials supplied are fit for purpose, safe, of a high standard and meet the project specification
* Regular visits to SOCOTEC offices and project sites to review service delivery of in-house and subcontract drilling staff
* Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and in-house project managers
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Comprehensive and wide-ranging drilling operations experience
* Technical and regulatory knowledge
