Job Title: Operations Design Engineer
Salary: £50-£62,000 +
Work Type : On-site
Locations: Corby
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and streamline logistics operations to boost overall efficiency and service effectiveness.
* Design and implement comprehensive logistics solutions across transportation, warehousing, and inventory management functions.
* Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and cross-functional teams to optimise end-to-end supply chain performance.
* Utilise data analysis and modelling techniques to inform decision-making and uncover areas for improvement.
* Develop and manage performance metrics and dashboards to track logistics KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
* Assess and recommend logistics technologies and tools that align with operational objectives.
* Produce clear, insightful reports and presentations on logistics performance and strategic initiatives for senior management.
* Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Candidate Profile:
* Minimum of 5 year's experience leading logistics engineering within construction projects.
* Engineering Degree
* Experience with Warehouse Creation Projects automated and non-automated solutions.
* Experience with analysis and modelling.
* Useage of logistics platforms such as WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
* Stakeholder Management Experience
* Supply chain Experience & Understanding
* Project Management Experience
