We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Care Assistant, supporting the delivery of high-quality personal care to residents during the night shift.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents during the night shift.
* Assist residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure sores, falls, signs of infection) and escalate identified risks promptly.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks and demonstrate initiative, respect, and efficiency.
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate care values of being caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable. Experience is not required as Avery provides a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence in the role.
* Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and be respectful toward residents and other people in the home.
* Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

* A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
