2. Providing day-to-day pastoral support and signposting students to internal services
3. Monitoring and improving attendance, working alongside curriculum staff and student services
4. Supporting retention and progression by identifying ‘at risk’ students and putting early interventions in place
5. Helping students develop life skills, confidence and positive attitudes as they prepare for adulthood
6. Attending EHCP reviews, safeguarding referrals, and curriculum meetings as required
7. Supporting college events like open days, taster sessions and enrolment

11. The ability to manage sensitive situations with confidence and care
12. A genuine interest in supporting young people from all walks of life
13. Strong organisational and IT skills to track attendance and progress
This role would suit someone with a background in education, youth work, student support or coaching – especially if you’ve worked in an FE setting.
