Job Title: Quality Conformance Engineer Location: Belfast,UK Duration: 12 Months Work Type: Onsite Job Description : Role Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen within client Supply Chain Operations for a Quality Conformance Engineer based in Belfast. The role focuses on ensuring product conformity, driving non-conformance reduction, and supporting quality assurance activities across manufacturing and supply chain operations. This position works closely with Product Quality Control, Quality Assurance Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain high standards of product safety and customer satisfaction Key Responsibilities Provide guidance and task delegation to Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering teams. Develop, maintain, and improve quality documentation, procedures, and inspection plans. Collect, analyse, and interpret non-conformance data to support corrective and preventive actions. Support MRB / CAB activities and related decision-making. Prepare and maintain: First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Quality product documentation Inspection and MRB delegation plans Liaise with internal and external customers on quality assurance requirements. Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal and external audits. Drive quality initiatives focused on non-conformity reduction and continuous improvement. Support quality-related training for internal teams and external suppliers/customers. Support APQP-related activities, including: 8D problem solving PFMEA Control Plan development Required Skills & Experience Proven quality experience within a manufacturing or production environment (essential). Background in quality or engineering within a large manufacturing organisation (desirable). Strong data analysis capability ability to interpret datasets, charts, and trends. Experience working in cross-functional and integrated operational teams. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships. Awareness and working knowledge of APQP methodologies and quality tools. Experience from aerospace, automotive, or large-scale manufacturing environments is highly desirable, though transferable industries will be considered.
