CCU Yard Operative Location: Peterhead Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 (40 hours) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Our client is seeking a CCU Yard Operative to join their team in Peterhead. Reporting to the CCU Team Lead, you'll be responsible for inspecting and preparing Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs) to ensure they are ready for operational use, while supporting shipping and yard logistics. Key Responsibilities Allocate and manage CCUs to meet client shipping requirements via CMS Conduct quality inspections and raise Non-Conformance Reports Perform stock checks and maintain accurate records Complete consignment documentation and cargo summary tickets Supervise loading/unloading of trucks in the CCU yard Operate forklifts and assist with general yard duties Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and customer service What We're Looking For Experience working with CCUs and yard operations Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work independently or in a team Computer literate (Outlook, Excel) Committed to health, safety, and quality standards Forklift licence (desirable) Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and service.
