You'll also be part of a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and recognises those who go above and beyond.Shift PatternsMonday–Friday:Early shift: 06:00–14:30Late shift: 12:00–18:00Weekends:09:00–17:00Working pattern: 5 out of 7 daysMeal Service TimesMonday–Friday:Breakfast: 07:00–08:00Lunch: 12:15–13:15Evening Meal: 16:30–17:00Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customersOverseeing and implementing menu changesIdentifying opportunities to enhance food servicesActing on customer feedback to support continuous improvementAssisting with the creation of new menus and creative food conceptsRepresenting Defence and maintaining a positive brand imageMonitoring stock levels to ensure kitchens remain well-suppliedOverseeing kitchen cleaning tasks to maintain hygiene standardsComplying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulationsIdeal CandidateMust have experience in a previous Chef rolePassionate about great-tasting food and excellent customer serviceQualifications desirable, such as:City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalentFood Hygiene certificateExperience supervising a team is an advantageFlexible and adaptable approach to workPart of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
