Our client in Medway are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Adult Social Care Commissioner to join a well-structured and dynamic team. The client offers a full time and part time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.
Main Duties for the Lead Commissioner includes;
Work collaboratively with operational managers and senior leaders.Translate strategic intent and the approved business case into operational service delivery.
Develop and implement a Benefits Realisation Plan, covering financial and non-financial benefits.
Establish clear performance, quality, and outcomes frameworks.
Manage risks, dependencies, and key milestones.
Provide regular progress reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
To Be Successful;
• Senior commissioning experience within Adult Social Care.
• Strong understanding of reablement and domiciliary care models.
• Proven ability to translate business cases into operational delivery.
• Experience developing and implementing benefits realisation plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively across commissioning and operations.
