We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team, specialising in groundwork, formwork, reinforced concrete (RC) frames, and basement construction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing and tendering for projects across these sectors, with the ability to accurately interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements. You should be confident in preparing detailed cost estimates, analysing subcontractor quotes, and identifying value engineering opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks, RC frames, and basement projects
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents
* Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
* Identifying risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving solutions
* Supporting the tender submission process
Requirements:
* Proven experience in estimating within groundworks and RC frame construction
* Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders
* Good communication and organisational skills
