loucester Business Park or Bridgwater Job Purpose / Overview We are looking for a HR Contract Consultant to work on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite, 2 days at home) at one of our client's offices, either in Gloucester Business Park or Bridgwater. This role is offered on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week), but 4 days per week will also be considered if the successful candidate can work on Thursdays and Fridays. The HR Contract Consultant would be the main point of contact for our employees who work onsite at the client's premises. The successful candidate would report into the Manpower Account Manager. Whilst some Recruitment and/or HR experience is considered advantageous, we would also like to hear from candidates with a desire to learn without this experience, as this would be a supported development opportunity. We also offer the option of undertaking a CIPD qualification alongside the role.
Key Responsibilities
To provide a point of professional communication between the client and the Manpower staff on-site. Developing and maintaining good relationships with the client's managers. HR support with the management of all temporary staff including inductions, absence and performance management, disciplinary and grievance management, from point of assignment through to assignment end. Leading weekly training and development sessions with workers through Manpower's 'MyPath' programme. Working with confidential information accordingly and appropriately. Providing reporting internally and to the client on activity. Updating and maintaining accurate records.

Confident verbal and written communicator. Confident in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook. Customer/Client focussed individual - desire to deliver a first class service provision.
