Role Overview
The Marketing Manager - Europe will play a key role in driving growth across the UK and European markets for Optix. Working closely with the Global Head of Marketing, this role will support global initiatives while leading local execution to ensure campaigns resonate with regional audiences. The focus is on generating high-quality inbound enquiries, building brand visibility in the UK and Europe, and creating demand through integrated marketing activity.
This is a proactive, hands-on role suited to a strategic, data-driven marketer with strong digital and campaign management expertise, capable of turning global direction into tangible regional results. We’re looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas to the table, along with the ability to lead the execution on those programmes (with support from internal and external stakeholders).
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Performance Marketing
* Take ultimate responsibility for maximising inbound enquiries across the UK and Europe.
* Own the marketing-qualified lead (MQL) pipeline for the region, ensuring consistent volume and quality of leads.
* Provide local support to the Head of Marketing in managing relationship with our digital marketing agency, including PPC, SEO, paid social, and display campaigns to deliver measurable ROI.
Campaigns, Content & Communications
* Execute global campaigns within the UK and European markets, ensuring alignment with Optix’s brand, messaging, and commercial priorities.
* Localise content for regional audiences, adapting tone, imagery, language, and examples to increase relevance and engagement.
* Support the creation and delivery of Optix’s global newsletter, ensuring effective segmentation and consistent messaging.
* Develop and execute lead nurture campaigns to guide prospects through the funnel, working closely with Sales to ensure strong alignment.
* Partner marketing – supporting reseller and channel partners with co-branded materials and campaigns
* Sales enablement – ensuring the sales team has region-specific collateral, case studies, and tools.
Events & Brand Visibility
* Support the planning and execution of industry events, trade shows, and partner activations in the UK and Europe.
* Work with global marketing and local sales teams to ensure Optix’s presence is impactful, engaging, and consistent with brand positioning.
* Build and manage Optix's presence within key UK and European fleet, transport, and telematics industry bodies, leveraging memberships for speaking opportunities, co-marketing, editorial coverage, and qualified lead generation
Analytics & Reporting
* Track and report on UK/Europe marketing performance across channels and campaigns, with a focus on MQL generation, CPL, and conversion metrics.
* Provide data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and audience targeting.
* Share local market insights and performance feedback with the global marketing team to inform broader strategy.
* Competitor and market insight – feeding back trends and intelligence from the UK/European market into the global strategy.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within technology, SaaS, or fleet-related industries.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and full-funnel campaign execution.
* Demonstrable success in driving inbound growth and improving lead quality.
* Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot).
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
* Fluent English required; additional fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian highly advantageous.
* Analytical mindset with a focus on performance measurement and optimisation.
* Confident communicator with a balance of creativity, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
