A leading independent construction and property consultancy is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their growing Birmingham office. This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to work across a strong pipeline of residential projects alongside a variety of other sectors including commercial, education and mixed-use developments.
The Project Manager's role
The successful Project Manager will become part of an established and collaborative team delivering projects for a diverse client base across the Midlands. The Project Manager will gain exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract project stages, working closely with senior team members and clients across residential-led developments. This Project Manager position also offers clear progression opportunities and support towards professional chartership.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
* Managing projects through all project stages
* Supporting residential developments alongside other sector projects
* Coordinating consultants, contractors and stakeholders
* Preparing project reporting, programmes and meeting documentation
* Monitoring project budgets and delivery timelines
* Supporting procurement and contract administration activities
* Managing client and stakeholder communicationEnsuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
The Project Manager
* Consultancy or client-side project management experience
* Residential project experience preferred
* Experience across additional sectors such as commercial or education beneficial
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
* Degree qualified in Construction, Project Management or similar
* Working towards or interested in achieving chartership with RICS, CIOB or APM
