Our head office is recruiting for the position of Group Commercial Compliance Manager. The role offers excellent progression opportunities, both within the team and wider business, for the right candidate.
The Role
As the Group Commercial Compliance Manager you will report to the Group Risk Director. Working within the Group Risk Team, and in partnership with the Group Commercial team, you will support the trading divisions with their operation of commercial processes, ensuring that commercial policies are consistently and correctly applied across the Group and support the ongoing development of these policies.
Principal accountabilities will include:
1. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with commercial staff across the business. The role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders.
2. Supporting the Group Commercial Team with the development of commercial policies and processes in line with good practice and business needs, including the communication of policy changes and delivery of training.
3. Undertaking compliance reviews within divisions to assess levels of adherence to policy requirements.
4. Producing high quality written outputs and sharing good commercial practices across divisions.
5. Monitoring review findings and actions to ensure identified issues are appropriately remediated by divisions.
6. Assisting divisions with the execution of commercial processes where there are local staffing issues or other operational challenges.
Experience
7. Proficient in quantity surveying and commercial awareness.
8. Significant experience working with a large house builder in a commercial discipline.
9. Relevant experience in a commercial role at both head office and divisional level is desirable.
10. Knowledge of COINS is desirable.
Qualifications and Training
11. Full UK driving license.
12. Commercial or surveying degree is desirable.
13. Chartered status in a commercial or surveying discipline is desirable.
14. CSCS card holder is desirable.

Working Conditions
